「No hot water, coffee was terrible.」

「For a last minute hotel stay it wasn’t bad. Pool was nice but the pool bathroom had diarrhea on the floor that needed to be cleaned up. By the next day it still wasn’t cleaned up. The breakfast nook was small and in a bad area. It was right by the steps to the lobby and it was very crowded in the morning. The stairs were the only way up or down too. The room was comfortable and the parking lot was a decent size.」

「Check-in was quick, staff was helpful. I would have liked to have known ahead of time that 3% was added for credit card payment; would have brought a check or cash. (If there was something in the listing about this I missed it.) The room (#7)--everything that could be cleaned was spotless, however the carpeting in the bed area was stained and gross. I'm sure it was vacuumed but but it looked dirty. The "closet" in the bed area was unfinished with pipes going through with unpainted dry wall. But...

「All communications from the staff were timely and easy to understand, considering there is nobody physically on-site, it took a second to understand. The rooms were clean and neatly kept, with every amenity one could ask for. The best part was the proximity to downtown Port Austin, less than a 5 min drive and you’re where you want to be. I would highly recommend staying at the Sun and Sand, I know we will when we venture back!」
