This is an old building converted into suites. The picture show a beautiful vibrantly coloured facility that’s up-to-date, modern and excitedly painted. But it’s worn out and tired. The renovations were obviously done by an inexperienced home handyman who love to use lots of silicone goop, and then put lots of white paint on top of it to cover it all up. Painting was poor. Of the five blinds in the room, only two would actually open up to let light in to the room. Stairs in and out where worn and bear. For the large price that we paid, I was totally disappointed. Because we like to walk the location was OK for us because there was some distance to go to the pier. Where you checking in and get your keys is at a different location.

It was an easy check in and really good parking spots but otherwise the stay wasn’t great. The rooms had mold and dirt all over, I spilled something and wiped the ground I assumed was clean and my paper towel was all black. The pool is blocked by the sun and there’s only like 3 chairs. No lights for the pool after sunset. Didn’t see any bugs tho that’s a plus! The stay was convenient but not nice.

The check-in process was confusing since it was at another property. Trying to find our building, parking space and room was quite the challenge. I didn’t think the room was worth anywhere near what we paid for. A bit disappointing but we didn’t encounter any problems while there. We couldn’t keep the fitted sheet corners on the mattress. Very small space for 2 adults.

Great location between Duval St and Key West Express. Half mile walk to each location. We went to the Dry Tortugas and was a 15 min walk. The place itself was very Key West with the old wooden structure, palm trees, and airy sitting areas. The office on Duval held our bags while we shopped Duval awaiting our ferry departure. We took an uber from the office to the ferry for about $6 as it was just over a mile. Would recommend staying here.

The room was spacious with a separate bedroom and sitting area. The bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. The outdoor roof deck and the pool area were nice for lounging.

The check in process was annoying and unnecessarily complicated - drive to Duval, check in, leave your car somewhere else, go back at 4 get your key and move your car again. The steps look like your foot could go right thru them. THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN. You can hear people speaking in normal tones! But our neighbors, right left and bottom were LOUD from 11 pm to 3 am. It was very cold. No extra blanket, no one to call. The toilet was playing rockem sockem with itself. The charge of $30 for breakfast was not justifiable. They serve garbage, Oh, the room was clean. DON'T STAY HERE.

Colors on White offers much to a traveler with a budget in mind -- at least as much of a budget as Key West allows. Location was a 15-min to 30-min walk to pretty much anything on the west third of the island -- which is the tourist-heavy area. It's even near a rare 24-hr bodega-style food shop. The neighborhood was also much quieter than Duval (the main strip), the small pool area was pleasant, and the room was just fine overall -- complete with the kind of wear to be expected at this budget level. // Important to know: The sheets, comforter, etc. were extremely stained. I've never seen anything like it in my years of travel. Also, make sure to contact the staff via phone (not email) many days ahead if you will arrive after their limited office time -- you'd have to set up a lock box on Duval to receive a physical key.

l'appartamentino 401 è carino e ben attrezzato, ma la finestra del bagno, che è molto piccolo, non si apre, e quando ho fatto notare alla responsabile che non era accettabile per una struttura che costa 309 dollari a notte , mi ha risposto che nessuno si è mai lamentato. Inaccettabile !
