The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. 「We arrived at the Baymont after 6 hours of driving. I went into the lobby Men’s room and was greeted by an overflowing toilet of feces, no toilet paper, a cup of coffee on the sink and smell to wake the dead. I will post the photo’s. Was greeted by a sign that said Pool Closed. We decided to at least look at the King Suite room. 「Nauvoo Villas have been well maintained and had everything that we needed for our recent family vacation to Nauvoo. It was a quick 5 minute drive from downtown.」

「The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again!」

「The room was clean. It had been recently refreshed with new decor. Either the nextdoor guest or previous guest had smoked in the bathroom. The owner was very helpful in trying to clear out the smell. For the price I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice it was. It looks to be family owned and they are going through and remodeling/refreshing each room. Air conditioning was fabulous. Beds are comfy and linens were fresh and clean.」
