"Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya...

"I was very disappointed with my stay, as my AirPods Pro were stolen from my room. I had left my AirPods Pro in the charging case on the cofe table in my room. When I returned to my room later that day, the charging case was gone. I checked with the front desk, but they had not seen it. I am very disappointed that my property was stolen from my room, and I hardly recommend anyone staying at this hotel."

"This is a hidden quiet gem in the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. A lovely property with beautiful garden at the end of an embassy lined street close to Karura forest. The inn has five bed rooms with ensuite bathrooms and provides a delicious breakfast as well as other meals which can also be enjoyed on the porch, don't be surprised by monkey sightings :). "DO NOT stay in this hotel. I have stayed in some flea pits in my time, but this is the worst. Like the other review, they made me pay again, saying they had no booking with Hotels.com. The price reflects it of course, but it is in a dodgy part of town, a lot of noise, nasty rooms, no toilet seat etc. But the door service is a disgrace: the door staff would not even let me me rest after an exhausting journey to sort in the morning, and I PAID twice for this miserable pit. Hotels.com please...
