This is a beautiful hotel! An interesting mix of minimalist & comfort. We loved our room's artwork. And, of course, the Nespresso machine! We intend to come here each time we are out in DE.

Hands down the coolest hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was very clean, updated, and the artwork is astounding! Good location, very quiet neighborhood with a nice restaurant next door. Smooth check in process and very good communication. I highly recommend Artello and will be staying there every time I travel to Kennett Square!

The room itself was delightful. We liked it was all about giving back to the local community. The surrounding area was under mass construction and made finding the building a little difficult. We were at an activity at Longwood Gardens We are sureand told our friends about the hotel and its uniquiness. We will surely go back when we are in the area to see their progress.

I was initially unsure about staying here but it turned out great. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The nespresso in the room was a perfect touch, along with tea and a variety of coffees! My only critique is that the parking lot lacks lights - we arrived at 10 pm and had to use our phone flashlights to see where we were going.

Artfully Clean

The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable! It was not a quiet stay as there were lots of odd noises and at one point someone was banging on a door near by which was scary! A pad lock would have made me feel a bit more safe! Also there was major construction that made it very difficult to access, but Neil did his best to communicate that to us! Our sleep was interrupted at 6am by loud construction work right outside the motel! Overall I would stay again after the road work is completed!

Nice room with outside entry

Grew up in area, and this is a newer place and style in general. Ease of access, contactless setup with door access and departure. Some times it is nice to not have to go through common area to get to room and that is exactly the style set up here. Mural was nice touch to room, along with the shower set up. The room is exactly what was need for a quick stay with simple bed and nice shower but no added features of couches or other real seating areas which is perfectly fine for purpose of room. Definitely will come here again and definitely recommend place.

Phenomenal value! Loved the artsy vibe of this very clean, convenient hotel. Also loved the thoughtful, high quality touches—glassware, ceramic mugs, Nespresso maker with Columbe coffee, yummy honey sticks, delicious local teas (and discount coupons to local shops!), no-plastic slippers, large lighted magnifying makeup mirror, etc. Thanks, Neil for making no touch check-in easy and for your swift replies to questions.
