"For the past 3 months since May of 2026, I've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Taiyuan approximately a total of 16 days. I went to the city of Tao Yuan for personal matters. The location is very convent for me as it's walking distant to where I need to attend my personal business. It I may not be convent for others if they want to walk around Tao Yuan as it is no tint he city center area. There are several good restaurants around, but the property is not really suited for day tourist. With that being said, I've found there were many tourist having the included breakfast every morning. I believe many of them stayed there to catch a plane out of TPE from their tour trips. As for the breakfast, you can find Western and Taiwanese style foods with free coffee, latte, cappuccino and other drinks. It'll fill ou up ready for your day journey.
I have to shout out to the hotel staff, especially, Doris and James, they, among all the other staff, were very polite and very helpful. They'll greet you with a smile; and, I believe most of them speak English.
The rooms are not large but I have plenty of space for myself. The rooms were very clean as well as the restrooms. The cleaning staff would do a great getting the room clean of the next day. Some may complain about the towels being rough, it is a bit, but I think it is because they do not use fabric softeners.
Overall I enjoyed my stays there and would stay there again if I ever needed to go Tao Yuan again."
