The ‘Verbeke Foundation’ is a private art site which opened its doors to the general public in June 2007. As ‘a refuge’ for arts, the foundation holds an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art, mainly installations, collages and assemblages. The hotel was right in the middle of the city which was excellent. It’s a tram ride from the station or a 30 minute walk. The booking in was easy, staff lovely and the room perfect.

Had a city suite, it was a large spacious room in good conditon. Bathroom had separate shower + bath. Each bed had two different pillows, soft and medium. the soft pillow was amazing, makes such a change to have a nice soft pillow in a hotel
