The room smelled moldy and musty, the bed was not centered on the platform so it rocked back and forth. The window shades didn't cover the window completely so the lights from the parking lot came through. During breakfast, they ran out of coffee and no one was around to ask for more.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Of the two lamps in the room, only one worked. The window had some much green mold on the outside that you could not see out clearly. The carpet was dirty. In the bathroom, only half of the lighting for the mirror worked. The shower was filthy, including small black curly hairs in the corners inside the shower. In the lobby, there was a homeless man sleeping in one of the chairs, with all of his stuff packed onto one of the luggage dolly. There was three others homeless individuals sleeping in other parts of the lobby. They advertise having a bar, but there was no bar. When checking out, there was no one at the desk, and had to wait 15 minutes before anyone showed up. We will never stay there again.

The hotel smelt so bad; it had damp odor and the air conditioner was not working. I could only stay for 6hrs and I had to check out early. I will NEVER return to this hotel

Not happy about the service. Someone opened the door and my dog got loose and they refused to get him back inside even while I was driving back to the hotel.

This La Quinta is about a hour from our house in the country. Sometimes we just like to come to a large town and enjoy a mini vacation. This hotel is a great choice to stay when we are here. The room was clean and comfy. The AC froze us out when we wanted to get out of the heat which we liked. The beds were comfortable and my wife loved a tub she could soak in. It’s soooo perfectly located!!!! Right across the parking lot from Katy Mills mall. AMC theater, Rainforest Cafe, Cheesecake Factory and tons more in the mall. Fast food, and many restaurants of any kind within minutes. A large waterpark minutes away and much more! It was so nice to swim in the inside pool, play pool, and enjoy the amenities then go to a 10 pm movie and when it’s over we were back in our room literally in 5 minutes! Easy parking, pleasant staff - as you can tell, we enjoyed our stay and will use this LaQuinta as our base when we come to Katy.

The water pressure from the sink in our room was minuscule. Also the bathroom door wouldn’t close due to a warped floor. The door got caught on the floor bulge. There also was no toilet paper holder. The tissue was just sitting below the bathroom counter.
