"Amazing views. Beds were rock hard, showers were old and not convenient, but the pool was nice, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely place outside of town. "

"Really nice little local place"

"Superb hotel to stay in the mountains!"

"Great people, great service, great location, great accommodations. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend."

"Amazing location, excellent staff!"

"Clean room, friendly and courteous staff, good food and nice beach chairs"

"Great Hotel and the Staff!!!"

"This is a nice hotel with friendly welcoming staff. It is geared toward visitors from Russia so expect a different sort of breakfast. Sadly no toaster! Nice pool and beach area."

"Loved our stay at Minos Art Beach Hotel and we hope to be back."

"Came in the off season, and it was a complete bait and switch. Actual hotel was closed (including pool and restaurant (so no breakfast)). Placed us next door in tiny apartments. Manager gave us the key and left the property. First room had a broken toilet seat so moved us to another one. Staff spoke no English and didn’t understand that we need password for WiFi. Blanket on bed was wet. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left the next morning."

"Hotel itself is fantastic"

"So close to the beach and many excellent places for food and coffee!"

"Property was beautifully maintained, excellent accommodations, great pool and jacuzzi. Close to Agios Nikolas and our host was very informative and friendly. We will definitely return."

"very clean, comfy bed and staff was so gracious and accommodating. great location too "

"Beautiful views. Some rooms were way up top so a bit far from front desk They had golf carts to get around Unfortunately had rain so Not much to do Front desk older lady not very helpful but all other staff excellent Good food!"

"Absolutely beautiful setting on beach. Gorgeous views of Agean Sea and Heraklion lights. Staff are friendly and facility is very clean and up to date. Highly recommend area and facility. Distance fro Heraklion is 20 minutes from Airport. "

"The property was amazing! Highly recommend the suites with private pools. Everything was very clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our day and the food and drinks at the restaurant were also very good. We also enjoyed easy access to the beach. We also appreciated that the hotel helped us arrange transport from the airport. It was a bit of a drive but the property was worth it. We loved staying at The River!"

"Great hotel. Definitely will stay there in the future!"

"Lovely hotel great breakfast plenty of choice good location "
