「This property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. You will need your mosquito repellant. The staff are really lovely and can't do enough for you, helping to make plans for hikes, arranging transport, doing any washing you have- they are really spot on. 「Ella is a dream and this property was so nice! The whole ambiance is beautiful and calming. They even have a garden on the premises. Our room has a magnificent view great for watching the sunrise. I opted to watch from outside near the garden. It was so magical to watch the Sun rise while listening to the birds serenade in the background and faint Buddhist chants growing gradually louder as the Sun came up! I highly recommend this property for your stay in Ella and wish we could have stayed...

「It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.」

「Great little friendly hotel in beautiful Ella. Walking distance to town, restaurants and pubs. The hill Is a little steep to walk but if you find it hard you can get a tuk tuk for a couple of dollars. The room was clean and tidy and had a nice balcony. Staff really helpful. Totally recommend.」

「The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. 」
