Stay before when visiting the area the management and staff are amazing and friendly we stayed in the rooms on the river and for £10 a night can’t beat it for any bag packer /couples there are usually 3 rooms on each row the walls are made of bamboo so can hear neighbours talking the bedding is clean and have English toilets and shower is hot water and fresh towel the bed a little hard this is to stop mosquitos eating into the material food is ok good variety of like curries and simple snacks for the price it was a nice enjoyable stay watching the work go by staying and sleeping on the River Kwai x

Well

The guest house is nicely located and our room was floating on the river and had an amazing view. Staff was nice and helpful. But our blankets seemed old and didn’t appear newly washed, so we slept with our own blankets instead. There was also no hot water as the water heater was broken, so showers were cold. The walls are literally paper thin so you can hear EVERYTHING next door. The first night unfortunately our neighbour was a loud family with a crying baby so we didn’t sleep much at all. Our second night we had no noisy neighbours and we slept well. All in all it’s an ok place for the price if you are lucky to have quiet neighbours, but bring ear plugs just in case

Nice location and private bathroom. But the fan room is kind of stuffy, hot and humid. The bed wasn't clean.

まさに川辺のバンガローでロケーションは抜群でした。部屋には石鹸も歯ブラシも無いので自分で用意するのを忘れない様に！値段にしたら十分でしょう。街のレストランが徒歩圏内に何軒か有るのも嬉しい

bel endroit

Sugar Cane Guest House est un trop bel endroit, calme, reposant, isolé au bord de la River Kwai. La serenity règne. Nous avons pris une chambre sur la rivière, il y faisait très chaud mais avec un ventilateur. Pas de frigo dans les chambres standard c’est bien dommage. Juste un drap house, et une grosse couverture en laine qui pique pour se couvrir. Mais ça s’oublie vite. La nourriture du restaurant est trop bonne. Et le personnel c’est dommage, pas très accueillant et pas très serviable non plus. Attention moustiques le soir! Et prenez un scooter car la rue à côté est pas la meilleure, presque que des bars... et pour faire des activités y a du chemin aussi!

Great location

Great location, close to everything bars, restaurants, easy walk to river Kwai bridge. Awesome view from restaurant and raft rooms to river. Close to main tourist road but still far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Rooms and overall resort a bit outdated and in need of long term renovations. Overall still recommend for a night or two.

À ce niveau de prix, il ne faut pas s’attendre à avoir un grand luxe. L’hotel Est bien situé, les chambres sur l’eau sont simples avec douche chaude climatisation balcon et wifi. Il est vrais que les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées et que les draps sont vieillot Possibilité de restauration au restaurant avec vue sur la rivière. La seule chose qui dérange la quiétude de l’endroit sont les long boat qui passent à fond sur la rivière.

Worth it! A real cozy, comfortable and nice place!

Great little place on the river Kwai, 20 minutes away from the bridge and 10-15 away from center! Great kitchen and staff, clean bed, (flushing toilet!) and all you need for a spot of genuine Thai experience! We recommend it warmly!

Great with small misgivings

Fantastic setting on the river with a rustic feel close to best area in town. Walls are paper thin meaning neighbours wake you up, chairs on balcony are uncomfortable and room wasn't serviced during our 3 night stay.

On ne comprend pas que cet hôtel soit recommandé Sale, très sale, les draps à notre avis n'avaient pas été changés Comment vs permettez vous de recommander de tels établissements? Good price for decent, basic guesthouse

For the price you get, it is a decent housing. However, the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything. We heared some unsettling noises but that depends on who is staying in the rooms next to you. Generally no party people when we were there. Food en drinks were nice, normal pricing and close to the main street, but not to close to hear noises from it.

Bon séjour, Pas de clim seulement des ventilateur qui font l'affaire Pres de la rivière à l'écart de la route Douche et toilette dans les chambre à l'abri des regardes mais pas d'aération ou dans une pièce fermer (qui peu gêner des personnes) Fourmis qui rentre par les fenêtres (moustiquaire)

Endroit très relaxant, personnelles très serviable. Je devais rester 4 jours au final j'y suis resté 15 c pour dire..très bien placé, seul bémol mir un peu fin et les cygnes sur le fleuve font un vrais boucan lol..sinon top..la cuisine j'adore..bon plat et pas chère

Nice choice for budget travellers. Need earplugs!

First of all the room is beautiful for its price so just be aware of few moments that can disturb. Walls are very thin so you can literally hear everything that's going on in your neighbor's room. We were happy to stay 4 nights without neighbors. Location is very nice, close to bars but not close enough to to hear music and noise. Also in the evening there is a beautiful view from your room to the sunset.

Environnement magnifique au bord du fleuve , avec une jolie couché de soleil, très bien situé. Chambre très sommaire, mais pour le prix cela reste correcte. Odeur de renfermé lorsque vous rentrez et ventilateur au dessus de votre tête.
