「I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area. Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently. 「A poor maintained onsen hotel! No towel and locker available in the onsen, need to bring along everything from the room! The room itself is very old and poor maintained; the dining which is just fair, don’t expect that as same kind of Food and beverage to a graded resort; fortunately a Taiwanese lady serving down there with excellent service to pull the satisfaction up a bit! 」

「We loved our ski holiday at Hotel Takimoto. The all inclusive plan was great - so much included. Meals and drinks were great and plentiful, rooms were comfy, skis and boots were good quality, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent central location with easy access to the extensive Shiga Kogen ski area. A bonus was being able to ski back to the front door. 「Staff is extremely friendly and the parking space is very nice. Bath is awesome and the amenities are very great, you can enjoy the best bath after a full day business or trip. This is a great hotel and should be recommended, definitely 10 stars.」

「We were here for a couple of days and had a wonderful stay! The place is kept clean, and it sits right by the ski hill. Nothing beats a soak in the hot public bath after a day of skiing.
