"i didn't realise when i made the booking that a cabin had no self contained bathroom"

"We liked this spot we had a car, lots of parking. Reception was respectful and greeted us every time we walked in the front door. Rooms were awesome little balcony and cute supplied kitchen. Pool and restaurant had a huge breakfast that’s included if you request it. We did. But the four days we were there I think they had a restaurant staffing problem on weekend. We were much more patient than some. I suggested people go to reception desk and not pick on the poor two girls work extremely hard to do their best. We had breakfast each morning here, then off for our day trips. We walked three times to the lovely downtown for our dinners and enjoyed the 15 minute walk we even took inn the hike up the mtn to the central survey marker. Ty"

"Amazing spot with views of sea. The pool spa and sauna were perfect for easing aching bodies. Staff were super friendly and helpful with tips for hikes. Buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day"

"Very comfortable 1-bedroom suite including bed, pillows and recliner seats. Ideal location for Tahunanui Beach and for driving to Nelson, Mapua and Richmond. Loved the pool. Great you don’t get automatic servicing - just opt in for any day or get any supplies from cleaning staff."

"Tidy cottage. Showing age and has partial do ups. Curtains needed more hooks as barely hanging. Cutlery draw needs cleaning and improved. No TV but excellent wifi. Shower has excellent water flow but no hair shampoo. "

"We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the property is very comfortable with far more amenities than you’d expect for a small hotel. Everything is well run and thoughtfully organized. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the water taxis for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, which made our trips very easy. The only minor thing we noticed was that the kitchenette in our room was quite small with limited storage space. However, the large communal kitchen was fantastic and made cooking easy. Overall, a great place to stay and a perfect base for exploring the area."

"Clean cabin with nice ocean view. Great huge kitchen that guests can share which had plenty of refrigeration, stoves, sinks, counters and pots and pans for you to use to cook your meal. Fresh eggs available from their chickens. Next to Abel Tasman trail entrance and vast beach. "
