I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms only have three walls so it is normal to find an insect here and there. I will definitely be returning. "

"The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...

Staff seemed in general to be disinterested in helping, and also didn’t seem to be able to navigate the computer booking system to find our booking. They also attempted to double charge us (twice) despite being shown receipts from hotels.com! "The staff was incredible, very friendly and helpful and accommodating. The freshly cooked to order breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. I had one noisy room, but it’s downtown Iquitos and earplugs allowed me to sleep well. Affordable. I would stay here again if I come back. "
