「Very nice set up. I picked this location for convenience from the airport. But after a couple of days, I moved closer to the volcano and decided to walk. For reference it’s a 90 minute walk, but it was incredibly awesome.」

「The room was sufficient, but the bathroom definitely needed to be reworked. There is no hot running water. There is no real pressure for the shower. So I had to use the bucket and a kettle that was provided by the hotel to heat up my water so I wasn’t taking a cold bucket bath. 「We booked AGM Beachfront Resort because it was the only place available during our travel dates. It’s more affordable than neighboring resorts, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful—that was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the property itself is in poor condition. 「Modern hotel with pretensions of being a really top class hotel. Room was clean and functional. Had to wait a few minutes for check in while receptionist dealt with phone calls. Cookies in the cafe were excellent.」

「Spacious room, though oddly shaped. It's beside a river or creek, so if it's warm or sunny, you can smell it (and it's not pleasant at all) when you open your window or go outside. Given the amenities and condition of the facilities, it seems a bit pricey for what you'd get. I'd still be okay to stay here again if needed but I think I could find another hotel with better value around the area.」
