There's table tennis and petanque in the garden too. Jean on reception was really amazing and managed to speak slowly in French so I could actually understand and respond in French! "This hotel is on the outskirts of town in an area where many of the chain/budget hotels are located. It's easily accessible from the autoroute and had plenty of parking right outside. It's about a 10 minute stroll into the old town. In short a decent location. Being brutally honest the exterior of the hotel looked a little tired and slightly scruffy. My heart didnt lift when I saw it, but it overall it was fine. The interior and breakfast were a similar story. Perfectly ok, no more, it was ok. We were travelling with our small dog and it was very dog friendly which perhaps some of the chain hotels are not. The location is good for dogs with plenty of walkable, nearby green spaces for them. The receptionist we dealt with spoke perfect English. To summarise, this is a conveniently located, reasonable hotel which is dog friendly."
