"Cambria was a wonderful place to stay in Lake Placid. The room was clean & odor free. The restaurant was quite reasonable & the wait staff was cordial. Parking on-site was so convenient. It is so close to downtown & other stores. We will definitely be back."

"Contactless check in is/was inconvenient. I don't read or answer emails/texts while on vacation. Lone housekeeper and a guest helped with my check in, I than discovered how to gain access to room. Room was okay, bathroom was fairly newly redone, Main floor had a hump and was spongy. Maybe owners should take a better walkthrough with people that know things. Contactless not for everyone. No one to help out if there is an issue. Phone number and call is not same as face to face. Call me old school cause I am. Served the purpose for one night."

"A lovely spot, even though it's squeezed in between the main road and other properties. The rooms are small but elegant in a rustic way. The main draw is the lakefront area, which is very picturesque and relaxing to hang out at. I also enjoyed taking a kayak out onto the lake, which is convenient and available free of charge (also canoes and paddleboards). The place isn't cheap, and it's a short drive away from the main part of town. But the overall experience was excellent."
