A rare find in Benoni

Amazing guesthouse with beautiful surroundings. Super comfortable spacious room with double shower, nespresso machine, fridge and microwave. Delicious breakfast with great cappuccino.

Absolutely amazing. Very clean and spacious. The lodges are spread out inside a small park. Looks more like a botanical garden. They even have a pair of swans and a small pond. The roads are mostly gravel for the last kilometre so you’ll need to drive carefully, especially if it rains. The cafe is only opened in the morning for breakfast, so you’ll need to drive to get lunch and dinner. Or get an Uber, which is quite cheap. The Oakfieds shopping centre is less than 3 km away. You’ll find a few good restaurants and a Pick n Pay store there.

Wonderful Stay

This was such a good find. It is like an oasis close to the city. The photos do not do it justice - the grounds and rooms are very nice. The staff are also very accommodating and friendly. Charlotte is super sweet and helpful- it felt like visiting family. Would highly recommend.

Gracia de Dios - just wow!

Gracia de Dios was simply just lovely. Room was beautiful, the staff friendly and welcoming and they ent out their way to arrange breakfast for us and our visiting daughter and husband.

We stayed at this hotel for three days as a family, and unfortunately the experience did not meet our expectations, especially considering the very high cost. First, the price is extremely elevated for a property that does not have a swimming pool. Additionally, charging such a high rate during a period when the hotel offers no leisure facilities feels unjustified. There was no restaurant, no spa, and no leisure services available — which were precisely the features that attracted us to this place in the first place. Another major disappointment was the lack of room cleaning service on Sundays. We were forced to stay in an unserviced room, with no housekeeping or room service, which is particularly inconvenient when traveling with a child. What made this more frustrating is that the booking application did not clearly disclose these limitations. The hotel description indicated that there was a restaurant, a spa, and room service available, which influenced our decision. Had we known that these services were not operating, we would have made a different choice. The breakfast was also very basic — essentially a self-service setup with purchased items that guests had to serve themselves. While acceptable in some contexts, it does not align with the premium price charged.
