Relaxation and Privacy

The staff at Lumbini are all lovely, the Villas are very private, and the staff, whikst very attentive, respect the privacy. Room service was quick, the restaurant was also very good.. very nice play to stay.

Some of the utensils at the villa are not clean and working as expected. Example, water heater does not auto cutoff when it reaches boiling point. Also, the tub does not look much clean. The closet does not completely flush in single flush. Spa towels did not smell good and seemed like it is getting used beyond its life. All the staff were courteous and polite. Pool was good, but some of components like water taps, pipes etc need to be cleaned. Room was spacious and good.

It was a lovely property, staff were friendly, the Villa and pool were beautiful, the breakfast and room service were varied (local and more tourist cuisine) and delicious, free transport to the hotel from the airport, would recommend.

We had a great stay. They provided airport pick-up and drop-off free of charge. Villa was spacious and clean, had all amenities. Breakfast was good with local and western food, juices, tea, coffee etc. Restaurant food was really good. Spa was great too! Overall great place and safe for families.

The villas are amazing - tranquil, private and you feel very close to nature. The property is also beautiful. The restaurant is not particularly fantastic (given standards of food in Bali it could be better) and the reception doesn’t do the property justice. The lighting, ambience of the reception and restaurant don’t match the classiness of the property which is a shame.

The bathroom is open air so bugs can get into your private space. There isn’t much to do immediately outside the resort on the street but if you walk a bit there are some good restaurants. The villa itself is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staffs are good. Transport facilities are good. But lots of mosquitoes inside room. Lizard sound inside room wakes you up sometime. Bathroom isnt clean -potty , wash basin tap were dirty. Private pool was nice.

The room was big enough with a living room and kitchen. The private pool was clean and water not too cold in the morning. The location was good with groceries available within a 10-15min walk. There are only very few spa/massage shops around though. The spa in the villa is available, but price is more than 2 times what you get from a shop outside. Service was good. Both the receptionists, the cleaners and the staff in the restaurants were friendly and helpful. I asked if I could order a lobster for a dinner and they obliged. The lady even came to my villa to inform me on the price. That was a good meal. There are really quite a bit of mosquitoes in the kitchen, living area and the bathroom as these are open areas. I normally will lit the mosquito coils in the areas throughout the day. They do provide the mosquito coils and the electrical repellent(used in room).

What a fantastic stay! We were only there for 1 night but we will definitely be back. The staff were exceptional - so responsive and helpful. The grounds were beautiful. We had a 2 bedroom villa with a private (huge!) pool - the villa was outstanding. It was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Lumbini - was a perfect end to a fabulous trip in Bali.
