Couple of minor things easily remedied, window plunder in the room was damaged & ash window would not stay open. The shower head badly leaked and just needs a new seal. We went on Motorbikes and parking was easy and secure with fantastic trips out from the hotel. 」

「Good value for money. I think the hotel itself would admit that it isn't a luxury venue but for £55 for the room it was clean and comfortable and I slept well. The decor needs updating. Staff were great and very friendly. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the restaurant. I would stay again.」

「What I love this hotel the most is the breakfast, its by order and put you feel like on vocation (I am on biz trip). The staff was very nice as well. The hotel location is perfect and nearby market place, very easy to walk around this lovely city. The only thing that need to improve is the internet connection, it was that good in my room.」

「We stayed at the Rose & Crown for an overnight stop, on our way back to Bristol from a weeks holiday in Scotland. The hotel has been there since 1455, lots of history, we found it to be a very cosy and quaint. Real wood fires making the snug cosy and warm. Manager and staff were lovely and friendly nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent as was the service. Our room was comfortable the four poster bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it. Breakfast was good great choice. Will...
