"The room was very hot when we arrived but it cooled when we turned the heat off. Of the three lamps in the room only one had a light bulb. When we called the desk the person my husband talked to told him to walk down from the second floor at the far end of the building to get light bulbs. When he refused they did bring the bulbs to us. We did not realize when we booked that it was and old motel with two floors and no elevator. We were in the back of the building on the second floor. My husband is 80 with breathing problems and I’m 77 with lymphoma so as you might imagine getting our luggage and ourselves up the stairs was very difficult. The beds were comfortable and we did get a good nights sleep but again we had to carry our luggage back down the steps So all in all it was not a good stay and we will never return to a Days Inn again! "

"The establishment was very good given the relatively reasonable cost compared to other hotels in the area. We were fortunately given a room on the 1st floor that allowed us to back the car right up to our room - very convenient for loading and unloading. If we had been given a room on the second floor, that would not be the case as there was no elevator or luggage cart. It would have nice to have had an ice machine on our side of the building. The breakfast offerings were rather sparce, but it was more than I expected and the coffee was good. The hotel is also very convenient if you are travelling on I-20. It is also conveniently located near some good restaurants."

"Hotel was undergoing some renovations. Rooms seemed recently udated. Standard King Room was very nice- especially the bathroom. Very large shower with glass doors was a nice update. Very clean. The staff at check in were not very friendly. They were not rude or disresepectful, just very flat. We booked 6 rooms for a group and did not receive a thank you at check in or check out. Probably the only time in 50+ hotel stays in my lifetime when I could say that."

"This hotel needs to be shut down from the lobby to the rooms. The staff was very rude and argumentive. Pictures of the establishment were fake photos from over 10+years. The pool was shown in one pic but when arrived the pool was shut down for what look like years. When walking into the lobby it smelled horrible. The clerk looked as if she may have been an addict as she took my payment and forged my signature on the receipt. I switched from 3 different rooms, all were the same, bad smell, floors not cleaned and mold in the tub. There was a hole in the bathroom wall in every room we looked at. The pillow cases were stuffed with sheets for a homemade pillow. The sheets were not clean and the blanket was filthy. This place needs to be shutdown and renovated with the help of the city and health department. Housekeeping did not service room just left a roll of tissue and that was it. We were scammed out of the first nights payment for a refund because we were told that after we made payment a bank drop was done...Mind you this was at 11pm at night....If you don't want to end up sick or with any type of bed bugs I suggest to look at others in the area. Thank God we're in a much cleaner establishment as of this morning. This hotel need serious attention and needs to be looked at by the city of Monroe......Be Aware before spending your hard earned money with these people....You've been warned "
