This hotel is a five star hotel for sure. Staffs are well trained, got lots of amenities in room, nice clean hot bath on top floor as private use. You can enjoy Japanese “kaiseki” meal.
Not being used to such luxurious hotels, it's hard to write a fair review. But ignoring the price, this place is amazing. If you're looking for a place to relax, this is the hotel to book.
Very attentive staff. I changed my departure schedule and they could not arrange the shuttle. They then paid for the taxi. Though the staff were not particularly good in English, they communicated with heart and sincerity. That's good enough... No need to be too precise in a leisure trip.
The hotel location was close to the train station.
The room ,the service , the dining were more than we expected. We were treated very well. We love the view and the privacy throughout our stay. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.
Other than the location, almost all others are 5 rate.

Food quality is so so
The food quality is soso. And the waiter was always in a hurry to take your dishes away. You felt like they were rushing you to finish the dish so that they could give you the next dish.
A week before arrival, received greetings and ask for our meal time preference. Upon arrival, the reception staff sat us down, offer welcome drink and snack while doing the paper work. Then she took us a tour to the hotel facility and explain to us in detail the specific of the hotel, for all sign and printed material are in Japanese only. The dinner and breakfast were exceptional, the server were well manner and took effort to explain to us each course even with limited English. This hotel is well structured to make guest have a comfortable and relaxing time. My wife and I enjoy our stay.
This is a roykan, so you will be there for relaxation and get away. So it is not meant for shopping. The location is remote, it is about ten minute taxi ride from the station (the hotel will reimburse the taxi fare).
Food is extraordinary: both dinner and breakfast
Service is excellent, they place you in a very comfortable room, serve you champagne while walking you through the check in process. The staff will walk you to your room and explain all the little things in your room.
The room is big and comfortable, the sea view is fantastic, there is a private tradition wooden hot spring in the balcony, the bathroom is made by wood.
Hot spring: other than the in room hot spring, there are two hot spring located on the top floor that you can use (also private, as long as you see it is available) You don't need to share with others that you can enjoy with your family members.
Hotel is very quiet. There is not many rooms in the hotels, so you don't see other often except in meal time.
Overall, this is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. It is also a nice gateaway from the busy tokyo city life that you can be totally relax. Good for staying 1 or 2 night while travelling Japan.
Perfect combination of Japanese Ryokan and Western
This hotel has perfect position facing Pacific Ocean. Included dinner and breakfast are fantastic. If the in room outdoor onsen is not enough, the top floor private family onsen will make you happy. We had great time in this hotel and my son was not willing to go next day.
The hotel is very new. The private hot spring is extremely good so that you can use the whole spring with your whole family. The view and service is also good. It will provide you free transporation by Taxi to sent you to JP station. (surprise!). While I think the dinner still have room to improve. The quality of dinner is not bad, but not at the top class that I expected.
