Great, calming place. It was perfect for our part of the trip as we wanted to relax and be surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff was nice and went out of their way to be helpful. The majority of people who stayed here were older people and families, but I did not mind that at all. There are a lot of amenities and it was the small features that made me feel extra comfortable. I absolutely loved the foot bath that was out on the balcony for example. Also, the view was excellent.
I had my first onsen experience here as well. It was a lovely and relaxing experience. I wish it was more common to have that as a regular part of our day and culture. My friend and I also tried the in-room massage. It was an interesting experience but I could not fully get over the fact that it was in our room. The massage ladies were nice but also got shocked by our body types...anyway, overall it was a great experience. I would definitely stay there again.
