The room is spacious and artistically decorated, providing a pleasant stay. The hotel owner is very kind and prepares coffee for you, adding a personal touch to the experience. Breakfast is provided, and the hotel is within walking distance (8-10 min) from the Metro station. Additionally, there is a lift, so you don't need to worry about carrying your luggage upstairs. However, the roads in Taksim are generally rough and bumpy, and the curtains could be improved to better block the light from the street lamps.

First hotel of the past 20 booked I wouldn't rebook. Paid for room with kitchenette (primarily for the fridge) but was put in a basic room with no extra amenities. When I asked about getting what I'd paid for I was met with incomprehension. So I feel a bit ripped off. There are all sorts of other hotels in wonderful Istanbul--pick one of them instead.

Hey, so this is not a Hostel. It is a small hotel with several different locations on the same incredibly quaint Street. I was at building 116. The staff was lovely. So helpful; very kind. It’s a very intimate hotel which has really leaned into its art deco look. If you like art deco the details here are for you. The price is right. I would not expect room service or necessarily a lot of housekeeping, but the door locks are high tech and the location is great. Short walk to Taxim Square where there is all the transportation that you need, there are small eateries up and down the street and the prices are competitive. The hotel serves a breakfast, which is a little bit DIY, but was certainly sufficient for my needs. I would definitely stay again. If you are using Uber, stick to the black cars as the taxis will definitely try cheating you. Uber does show up tho’ !! I think the Manager helping me was Osel ( spelling! Sorry!!) and he was GREAT.

The hotel was generally clean and the staff were helpful and professional. Breakfast was also a positive part of the stay. However, the location is not convenient if you are traveling with luggage or a stroller, especially when relying on public transportation. The elevator is very small and cannot accommodate a stroller easily. The bed mattress was uncomfortable, and rooms facing the street were quite noisy. The shower drainage was poor, causing water to accumulate, and the sink was not properly cleaned. Overall, while the staff and cleanliness were good, there are several practical issues that affect comfort and convenience.

The room was beautiful and clean. The double bed was very comfortable. The staff were really nice and friendly. Lighting in the room was great and the thermostat worked well and heated the room very quickly. The bathroom was clean and always had nice heavy towels with that fancy hotel feel. Remember to bring an F9 adaptor to power your laptop and charge your electronics...the power outlets won't work with North American power chords. They put out a little breakfast every morning. I'm used to a Canadian style breakfast with eggs and bacon, toast ect. This was a much more healthy breakfast with waldorf salad, olives, cheese's, hard boiled eggs cut in half, Halva, rice pudding (really good), breads and cakes, beans and dolmas.It was really good and I really enjoyed it each morning. They have coffee and tea as well. I stayed in Villa Pera 2 which is a 90 second walk from Villa Pera 1 where reception is and where they serve breakfast. It's on a beautiful little street so walking there in the light of dawn with the white icicle lights that are hung overhead attached to the buildings on either side of the street was very nice. It's very quite and the cats running around was always fun to see.

My initial stay here in 2025 was amazing which I rightfully rated 5 stars. Unfortunately this time around my experience was disappointing especially given how excited I was to stay here again. Hopefully the quality and consistency of their services (breakfast, housekeeping, receptionists’ attentiveness, etc) improves because what I experienced was a downgrade compared to how it was just 6 months ago. I will say one of the guys at the reception was very accommodating and kind, and the behavior he displayed matched what I experienced during my first stay. Otherwise, I was disappointed. Thank you anyways as I still felt as safe as I did the first time.

The location was excellent and very convenient. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and tidy throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic, with great quality and variety. The reception staff were polite, professional, and very friendly, which made the experience even more pleasant. The only point I would mention is the bed. I personally had some difficulty sleeping comfortably on it. Aside from this, everything else met or exceeded my expectations based on the price. On my next trip to Istanbul, this hotel will definitely be the first place I check for availability. I will also review the room photos, and if I see an option with a more suitable bed, I would not hesitate to book again. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would confidently recommend this hotel.
