Great place to stay!

Great stay at Shining Star Hotel. Very well located, with a short walk to restaurants and the most popular sights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The glass floors with a view of the underground ruins are really a treat and the bar area is beautifully finished and very atmospheric - although the wine and beer choice could be better.

Excellent hotel. Staff were amazing and it has a nice personal feel making it more relaxing. Excellent location and perfect for me as I was out exploring most of the time and loved the quiet after a busy day.

Perfect location

Perfect location, walking distance to everything, close to public transportation. Clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast, super friendly staff. Bery safe surroundings. Very nice property. We will book again if we visit Istanbul.

We had a wonderful stay. Not only was the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself was extremely clean and offered a great breakfast. The location was also perfect for sightseeing being close to many attractions. We would absolutely stay here again.

I had a great experience at the shining star hotel with my friends. We had a comfortable stay. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. The hotel is placed in a great location, with a view of the Hagia Sophia. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience the old city of Istanbul.

The staff made us feel welcome. The rooms and bathroom are small but nice and the bed was comfortable. The location is amazing and very walkable to many of the sites plus easy to get around the city via tram and metro. Breakfast was the best we’ve had at any hotel. Would definitely stay again. Don’t forget to tip the staff as they are very helpful and work hard including the staff that cleans the rooms.

It was excellent. Loved the location of the hotel. Loved the view from the room. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. All the attractions, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Staff were excellent couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty of options. Hotel was brand new in appearance and kept to a high standard of cleanliness. All attractions on the doorstep and to go further there was a tram stop on doorstep.I Would highly recommend.
