Centrally located. Easy access to places in old Istanbul. Lots of traditional Turkish food dining opportunities within easy walking distance. Very friendly and genuine staff all around. We'll be back.

Friendly, clean and accommodating

We had a long connection in Istanbul and needed a place to stay for about 8-10 hours. They were extremely accommodating with getting us an early check in. The people were very nice and the room was nice and clean. It’s located in a good area that is close to a ton of good food and dessert, as well as a short walk to the Galata Tower. I would stay here again next time I visit!

This small hotel is conveniently located near the Galata bridge with lots of dining option and proximity to the Tram and Tunel funicular. There is no breakfast buffet available and the rooms are very small.

Perfect stay in Istanbul

Beautiful and extremely well located hotel. Rooms are exactly as the photos, with good beds and very quiet. They also have a very nice café that is perfect for breakfast. The staff is extremely nice, special mention to Mateen who is a 5 stars host. Will definitely come back during my next trip in Istanbul. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. The room is suitable for two people, clean, the windows are large, the room is bright and there is no noise from outside. The mattress is comfortable and so are the pillows. The bathroom is small but sufficient. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Especially Umut and Metin who were always welcoming us with a smile and provided us with services when we needed to print some papers and also helped us communicate with the airline when we needed it. I can confirm that all the staff at this hotel are polite and respectful. There is a restaurant on the 8th floor and on the 9th floor there is a terrace with a wonderful view of Istanbul. Its location is close to everything; Galata Port, Eminonu and Karakoy Tram. I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future.

I have been to Istanbul a lot of times. Have tried different hotels and I can honestly say, Khai Hotel is the best experience I had. It is located in a perfect district. Very close to both European and Anatolian side. Neighbourhood is very safe and full of interesting cafes, shops and people. Best staff person can ask for. Young, vibrant and interesting people who make sure your stay is perfect and easy. Rooms are clean, with all necessary amenities. Walking distance from all the main streets and attractions. It is surrounded by very good restaurants, cafes and shops. Pharmacies and supermarkets all within 200 m radius. I will definitely book my next visit with Khai Hotel. THANK YOU KHAI FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

I highly recommend Khai Karakoy. The manager, Umut Aksu and staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our short stay, as we were in Istanbul for an 18-hour layover from Athens back to the US. I am particular about bathrooms and their bathroom was very clean and same for the room. They had a welcome note and some snacks for me and my partner. Such thoughtful touches were very much appreciated. Mr. Aksu was great at engaging us to understand what we wanted to do in Istanbul during our short visit, as well as ensuring we had our transportation set-up for our very early morning departure back to the airport. He made some sightseeing and dining recommendations in the area, most importantly clear directions on where we wanted to go. We hope to return to Turkiye for a longer vacation next time and Khai Karakoy would be our hotel of choice. It is such a gem of a spot to stay in. Rooms are clean, area is safe, quiet, great staff and such a great location by the Galata Bridge and walkable to a lot of attractions in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Khai Hotel Karaköy, and it was a truly delightful experience. The hotel boasts a unique design that blends modern elegance with a touch of traditional charm, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Location-wise, it couldn't be better. Situated right next to all major public transportation, getting around Istanbul is a breeze. Additionally, there's a secret walkable shortcut that takes you to the bustling Istiklal Avenue in just five minutes—perfect for those who love to explore the city on foot. The service at Khai Hotel Karaköy is exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you need any assistance or a tour guide, be sure to ask for Metin—he's AMAZING and will ensure you have a memorable experience. While the hotel doesn’t include a free buffet breakfast, they have a bright, nice café/restaurant on the ground floor, perfect for starting your day with a light meal. Additionally, though the hotel doesn’t have a gym or spa services on-site, they offer special discounts to many nearby places that provide these particular amenities. This hotel is an absolute gem for solo travelers and couples. While it's not particularly kid-friendly, it offers a peaceful and cozy environment perfect for adults looking to unwind. Khai Hotel Karaköy is the place you'll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended!
