Excellent location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant is very cool and stylish. The bar and restaurant next door which is part of the hotel is cool, good music and you get 10% off if you're staying at the hotel. The Tower is literally round the corner though you wouldnt know as hotel bar nit crowded.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Excellent hotel and restaurant staff, who go beyond to help guests with requests/ needs. Hotel is up on a hillside, so you need to be able bodied and comfortable with walking around to get around the city. Taxis easy to get.

The room interior was excellently designed. It was very clean and modern. The breakfast was also very nice. With a good selection to order from. The Turkish Breakfast offered is an enormous amount of food! Our servers were very polite and attentive. All of the staff were exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it. All the staff were very kind and eager to help-Hakan made breakfast more cheery! The rooms are small (and we booked a larger one) but it doesn’t matter when you’re out and about so much. Our room was on the road side but noise didn’t bother us too much. The food was all delicious and we enjoyed some very good cocktails. Location is great -within easy walking distance of all the main sites and near the ferry.

Fantastic stay. This is a gorgeous property and the service is attentive and top notch. From an Expedia vip room upgrade, to surprise dessert gifts throughout the stay, and amazing breakfasts included in the room rate, there was nothing not to love. Location is excellent, right down the street from galata tower, easily walkable to cute karakoy cafes and bars, and a very doable ~20 minute walk across the bridge to sultanahmet. Highly recommend.

This hotel gets a perfect 5.0. The room (1D) has a balcony with a view of Galata Tower. The breakfast was delicious and Hakan the waiter made it extra special. I don't recall the name of the manager. But he was extremely helpful. The location was a very convenient with a short walk to many restaurants and sites. It was a delight!

We stayed at Ecole St. Pierre for five nights, and it was perfect. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the daily breakfast was fantastic. Every staff member we interacted with was also excellent. I especially want to thank Havak who we saw each day for breakfast. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and made sure we had what we needed. Every staff member did the same. I highly recommend Ecole St. Pierre, and we will stay there again on any return trip to Istanbul.

STAY HERE IF YOU CAN!!

I cannot give this place enough stars or praise! The service was un-matched (thank you HAKAN - best and sweetest server, every morning a smile and some Turkish lessons). The rooms and grounds are GORGEOUS. The food delicious, fresh, and incredible. From the moment you walk in, you will feel at home with a little bit of historical feel, but pristine and elevated condition (and thank goodness for the A/C). Perfect location in the heart of it all, but off the street for a little R&R/quiet. Stay here!!!

It had a unique story-French school converted to a hotel. 2 years since hotel opened. Very clean and very friendly staffs. Uses le labo products which are amazing! Serves great food. Really enjoyed Turkish breakfast. Highly recommend. Located on a steep hill. If you want to avoid climbing it’s not an ideal location but it’s close to tourist attractions and great dining options nearby. Rooms facing courtyard may hear some music at night.

Perfect stay in Istanbul

I can't give this hotel and its staff high enough praise. Our two-night stay here was INCREDIBLE. From the moment we walked in the door, Yunus at the front desk made us feel welcome as family. He was extremely helpful in getting us last-minute hammam bookings, and made us feel at home during our entire stay. And the breakfast, oh the breakfast. INCREDIBLE Turkish offerings as well as more international options (but seriously, get the Turkish breakfast - you won't regret it). I sincerely hope to have an opportunity to return. THIS is what a 5-star hotel should be. Well done!

Ecole St Pierre Hotel was the perfect location for our trip to Istanbul! The staff was so accommodating, friendly and professional. The service was exactly what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Twice-daily house keeping with turn down service, always fresh bottles of water in our rooms, a welcome snack and bottle of wine, stuffed animals for our kids, and super clean rooms. Our view from the galata suite with terrace was amazing! We also had breakfast every morning downstairs where Hakan served us a delicious turkish breakfast. The hotel is a convenient 10 min walk to the tram down by the galata bridge and the water. We would highly recommend this hotel - it was perfect for our family!

Perfect place to rest, explore and enjoy Instanbul

The hotels is superb, luxury without the fuss. The building is an old school with history dating back and the team are keen to share the information in the form of a lovely note book. The rooms are delightful with some clever design ideas to help you relax. The restaurants - 2 one in the court yard and the other 2 mins yore the hill from the hotel where both worth separate visits and have good service. Not to attentive, just right. The star of the show is the front of house team, nothing was too much trouble and the delivery of service with a friendly and helpful Smile. All in all, this was home from home. The location is excellent and perfect for exploring the sights and close enough by foot to have a rest in the afternoon. We had a brilliant time and would throughly recommend.

Our first visit to Istanbul visiting a friend who lives here. We happened to land on the final day of Ramadan which was followed by a three day holiday so Istanbul was packed... the hotel was great - quiet and candidly seemed pretty empty (there are only 17 rooms). Staff was very attentive and all spoke good English. Service was almost immediate when we ordered coffee to our room in the morning. We had breakfast (included) only one morning and it was very good. The room was spacious and the bed and bedding was among the most comfortable I've ever experienced. The front desk messaged us over WhatsApp before we arrived to see what we needed and took care of all requests including finding us an English speaking tour guide ($300 euros) and booking a dinner or recommending restaurants for us. Overall we highly recommend. If there was one small negative it's that the hotel is right under Galata Tower - a VERY popular tourist spot and roadways are narrow and were crowded with tourists. The taxi had trouble getting there but we figured it out. The taxi picking us up also got confused and parked 200m away but the hotel staff explained how to navigate to the hotel. It's a minor issue. Just bake about 5-10 extra minutes in case Galata is crowded.

Ecole St. Pierre is an exceptional hotel. It’s perfect in my opinion. It’s small, only 17 rooms and has an excellent staff and perfectly located steps away from Galata Tower but on a quiet street. They are helpful, friendly and make every effort to make sure you are more than satisfied. They provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants and and an haman and will take care of making all the reservations for you. The complimentary breakfast is plentiful and scrumptious. We highly recommend this hotel. Some rooms are on the smaller side so make sure you are booking the larger rooms with a spacious lounging area.
