「Overall, the state was nice. A nice Gal greeted us on our arrival. The room was cute and pleasant however no window shade over the bathroom window, no garbage can to be found and a shelf above the bathroom sink made using the sink quite challenging. Breakfast in the morning was great.」

「This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous.」

「Perfect location for walking to Main St. and enjoying all of the shops and restaurants. Also, minutes to drive to Acadia and access the beautiful National Park. Apartment with full kitchen (Raven's Nest) was great for preparing a couple of meals. The king size bed was so comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The built-in window seat for two was lovely for relaxing and reading. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. 」

「Very clean, modern space. Property owner was very informative and gave perfect instructions for check in/out. Apt was in great location, at end of village, in quiet area of town, but within walking distance to everything, no need to drive for Village activities. Included all necessities. Only upgrade I would suggest would be to add a full length mirror in the bedrooms or somewhere in apt. Otherwise, no complaints! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!」

「Cute, quaint motel that offered just what we were looking for during our Bar Harbor/Acadia Park get away. The decor and cleanliness of the motel was top notch! The grab and go goodies, fresh coffee and flavored water was perfect throughout the day. The location of the motel was ideal and within walking distance to many local shops and restaurants. Acadia Park was easily accessible. We would highly recommend this motel for anyone traveling to the area! 」

「Sand Bar Cottage Inn greets you with beautiful gardens, a welcoming front porch and lots of smiles. We made the BEST CHOICE of a place to stay on Bar Harbor. As a airline family, both of us have spent a lot of time in hotels and wanted something different for our Bar Harbor stay. Comfortable beds, clean showers and charmng decor greet every visitor. The owner, Chris, is a delightful person and his personality is shown through the employees, decor and all. Oh, let's not forget the breakfasts! ...
