「The location is great in Uig and have a great view of the harbour . Its worth for the price. Check in at the Uig hotel just nearby, very close. However the dinner of the restaurant of the Uig hotel is not good. Not recommended to have meals there.」

「We had a fantastic stay at Taigh Duitseach in April 2024. Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. We were only on Skye for 72 hours so we'll definitely be coming back and would feel lucky to stay here again next time!」

「We were welcomed by an extremely happy and smiling host called Vicki providing lovely homemade muffins, fresh milk and juices in the fridge. We had an immaculate room and very modern bathroom which we found both were very comfortable. Vicki provided a lovely menu of starter and hot dishes which were beautifully and freshly cooked and brought to our room every morning timed at our request. We woke up every morning to water and harbour views from Uig. The photo of the premises does not do justice...

「This is a quiet, rural location near the ocean and accessed via single track. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Breakfasts were varied and quite good. The hosts are super. You'll have to drive to find dining options but there are many within a 15-minute drive. 」

「I had a view of the sea, which was lovely. The area is really quiet, with some sheep grazing peacefully across the road. Perfect for a country getaway. The breakfast was great, and the hosts were friendly. Would recommend.」

「This was our favourite property in our 3 week visit to Ireland and Scotland. It wasn’t the fanciest but the property felt homey with some added extras that made it just perfect! Our host Joan Anne was exceptionally kind, very helpful, quick with suggestions, and a fantastic cook. Our bed was comfy, bedding luxurious, all amenities were lovely.」

「Beautiful accommodation in a remote area with plenty of privacy. There’s only other two other apartments and the parking situation is ideal as well. We had a few run ins with some bugs in the bathroom but I guess that’s what happens when you’re in nature lol. Just 25 minutes from town. 」
