"Decent spot to visit. We only stayed one night enroute to Skye. Both mattresses were rather soft (felt springs), but the room was tidy and clean. Great view of the Loch with a large window that opened fully for that fresh air! Road noise was prevalent yet the traffic subsided early in the evening. If you’re a light sleeper, the walls are not very noise proof. Though we didn’t stay for a meal, The restaurant does serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free and easy parking for cars/suvs."

"Our stay here was below the standard I would have expected for the price. On the positive side, the location was good and very convenient for getting around. Breakfast was acceptable, with a reasonable selection, and the staff in the breakfast area were friendly and welcoming. However, the overall condition of the hotel was very tired and in need of significant investment. While reception staff were polite at check-in, there was limited engagement beyond that. The room didn’t quite match expectations from the advertised photos, particularly those showing sea views. Our window had metal screws in the frame to prevent it from opening too far, the curtains were noticeably sun bleached, and there were maintenance issues such as a leaking bath and damaged plaster. We also suspected the room may previously have accommodated pets, as my husband, who has mild allergies, experienced some discomfort with his asthma during the stay. When we requested an iron and ironing board, these arrived without a cover for the board, so we had to improvise by using a towel. Another point to note was the £10 per day charge for on-site parking, which felt a little steep given the overall condition of the property. Overall, you could see that this hotel was way past its prime but still has potential to be great again, but requires significant refurbishment."

"The hotel had great facilities especially the pool and spa. Parking was plentiful, however, EV charge station was not operating. Our room was clean and welcomevyreats were appreciated, however, all walls in our room were either stained scratched or in need of washing or repainting. Generally felt that all staff had only had minimal amount of training. "

"The views are very pretty. I’m not sure if they’re renovating as the bathroom was clean and up to date but the room was very poor. Stained carpeting, scuffed paint, uncomfortable bed etc."
