This resort exceed our expectations. Wonderful for families , very clean and amazing staff. We did a free fishing lesson with captain Patrick and he was wonderful-also great with kids. Loved the free water taxi to visit the sister resorts . We will definitely be back

Room was ok, beds were comfortable, floors were dirty and slimy. We were there when it was cold and there was no way to turn the heat on, stuck on 68. It was nice they have a complimentary shuttle that will take you within an 8 mile range.

Loved our stay at the Amara Cay. Captain Patrick with Abel’s Tackle was our highlight! We also built great relationships with Greg in special activities, Marshall in dining and Linnie at the breakfast spot! We will be back next year because of the people who made our time so special!

The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, food was delicious, the property was beautiful and loved how there was connections to the other resorts through van transportation or the Rum runner boat! Would definitely stay again!

I would give this hotel one the highest ratings for my most recent stays in the area. The views were spectacular. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very very minor thing was the condition of the furniture and electrical sockets weren't the best quality but I just loved everything else so much that it would not deter me from returning.

Poolside seating was great, but there was pieces of trash on the ground that no one picked up. On the 3rd day I finally picked it up myself. On the floor outside the elevator, there was a candy wrapper and gum stuck that remained there for 5 days! Other than dirty floors in common areas, the place was clean. Friendly staff, helpful manager, and Abel at the tiki bar was great!

Staff was amazing. Beach and pool were amazing. Facility has been redecorated but the building/ facility itself is old. Our room was on the parking lot side on the ground level so not so great from that aspect. The pool/ocean side was very nice. Overall an okay place to stay but facility is pretty outdated.

Amara Cay is absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. From the welcoming drink to checkout was perfect. Some of the best food and cocktails I’ve had at a resort. Shuttle service will take you wherever you want to go outside the resort.
