「This is a pretty expensive hotel for the location. The reception was closed and I had to call for help at the pool VHF-radio... Very few people speaks English. I stayed in a suite, which has a nice bed, almost the only good thing about the place. On day 2 afternoon I wanted to take a shower, but as on day 1 no hot water and after a few attempts no water at all, not even cold. No reception. The pool area is okay, but no people. no breakfast, fancy full service menu in a small booklet, but no...

「I am giving three stars because I expected more from the presidential room we paid for. While the staff were welcoming and helpful, the hotel itself left much to be desired. A major issue was the lack of hot water for showers, which is unacceptable considering the price of the presidential suite. Additionally, there were very few amenities included for example, the boat ride was not part of the package, which was disappointing. 「Friendly and helpful service from the staff. For example, Laurent at reception organised a walking tour of Maderas volcano for me. The rooms on the first floor with volcano views from the veranda are great - worth paying extra for. Tasty, generous breakfast. Good location, walkable to ferry, and shops and restaurants of Moyogalpa. 」
