Villas Tiburon ist definitiv kein Luxushotel – und das sollte man auch nicht erwarten. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat drei Sterne und dafür passt der Preis absolut. Wenn man mit dieser Erwartung anreist, wird man positiv überrascht. Die Lage ist schlichtweg perfekt. Man ist etwas weiter von der Stadt entfernt, liegt aber direkt an dem mit Abstand schönsten Strandabschnitt in der gesamten Hotelzone von Holbox. Und das meine ich wirklich so: Ich habe mir alle Strandabschnitte angesehen und keinen schöneren gefunden. Der Strand hier ist ein absoluter Traum und vergleichsweise wenigs Sargassum. Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel, man muss tagsüber meist das Licht eingeschaltet lassen, weil man sonst nicht besonders gut sieht. Auch das Bad, vor allem die Dusche, ist schon etwas älter. Aber ganz ehrlich: Für den Preis und die Kategorie kann man auch nichts anderes erwarten – und das ist vollkommen okay. Was dieses Hotel wirklich besonders macht, ist das Personal. Unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Der Rooftop-Pool ist wunderschön und ein echtes Highlight. Auch das Essen im Hotel, vor allem in der Rooftop Bar, war hervorragend. Das Ceviche war einfach richtig, richtig gut – frisch vor meinen Augen zubereitet. Service und Sauberkeit waren top. Die Putzfrauen haben das Zimmer jeden Tag perfekt sauber gemacht, absolut einwandfrei.

The staff was really welcoming in reception. Amenities are good. Room had AC and a fantastic layout. Only storage for belongings is closet. Could use a surface for suitcase. Remember to ask for safe lock. The grounds are beautiful. Beach is one of the best I’ve seen anywhere. There is food/bev service on the beach. The roof top pool needs a scrub badly and some chemical to get rid of the algae. Rooftop bar/pool area music is quite loud & nightclubby. Price for stay was very reasonable compared to others in the area. Food and Bev is expensive, but on par with others in the area. Quality of food/bev was basic and good.

The staff are incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. I feel bad writing this review, but it's a review of the place, not the staff. 1. I lost hot water three times in one week, including once for 24 hours. After the first time, they were diligent about fixing it, but it kept going out. After the third time, they offered to let me switch rooms, a downgrade from the sea view, and two free breakfasts. But when they showed me the new room, the hot water didn't work, so I declined the switch. 2. At the front desk, they advertise a fishing and snorkeling trip to Cabo Catoche, in which you also see flamingos. It was the most expensive trip offered. After the boat left the dock, the first mate announced that they couldn't guarantee snorkeling or flamingos, because it was the worst time of year for that. We skipped both. It was a six-hour fishing trip with ceviche for lunch, nothing else. I mentioned it to the front desk, but no refund or discount was offered. 3. In the photos, I saw hammocks over the ocean. They're gone.

Me hospede en una habitación con vista al mar y era bastante amplia, fresca, limpia y comoda, con todo lo necesario para descansar. El frigobar es un detalle agradable para poder almacenar bebidas sobre todo ya que las tiendas no estan tan cerca. La ubicación me parecio excelente por la playa que se tiene justo enfrente del hotel. La zona del bech club es muy comoda. EL bar en la terraza me parecio agradable sobre todo para ver un atardecer. El centro queda un poco lejos caminando (15min aprox), pero la caminata no es pesada sobre todo por las noches y se puede apreciar un paisaje muy lindo.

Alles prima! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Strandblick. Das großartig. Das Zimmer war großzügig, hatte einen Kühlschrank zu unserer Verfügung, auf dem Flur gab es einen Spender mit gefilderten Wasser.

The front desk girl was terrible. She had. O business being behind a desk while thy tell you full concierge service. She doesn’t understand English . I made plans to get a pick up taxi. ..ferry boat and return taxi. She nodded her head. I gave paper to her all written out and she said okay I got it and confirmed to me that it was all taken care of. Next day she had nothing arranged. She apologized profusely but why she told me she understood and all Taken care is a mystery to me z. She screwed our return home trip up and cost us a day

Es war sehr windiges Wetter. Wir wollten frühstücken. Doch es gab nichts. Die Küche war zu. Nach einer Beschwerde fuhr man uns dann kostenlos in das Zentrum von Holbox, das ungefähr 2 Km vom Zentrum entfernt war. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und der Service war gut. Das Badezimmer roch jedoch muffig. Ed war da ein kleines Fenster, dad lies sich nicht öffnen. In einer Ecke oben an der Wand bildete sich Schimmel. Wenn die Fenster im Bad mit Gitternetz versehen würden und sich öffnen liesen, so würde das sicher nicht passieren das es muffig richt und sich kein Schmimmel bildet. Die Belüftung erfolgte durch Öffnungen in der Tür.
