「The stay was good. Walking the property, I really wanted to give a few ideas for improvement. The yoga area was pretty but needed a good re-fresh. There's no way anyone would want to do yoga there, in the condition that it was in. 「This is a little hidden gem in Alajeula! The restaurant/bar staff was especially friendly, helpful and polite. The bartender/mgr. Christopher, was exemplary! drinks were excellent, breakfast was quite tasty. The grounds are so lovely, we just regret we didn’t have more time to walk the trails of the property. The road facing room we had was pretty sparse and a bit noisy. I would recommend you upgrade to at least an interior room.」

「The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok...

「I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! Gerardo picked me up right on time, safely drove me to the property, and showed me around the house. The managers kindly shared go-to spots around San Jose and nearby areas.
