"The hotel is very nice and clean the food is fresh and a good selection. Lineups for the restaurant's were painful if you dont like crowds dont go there"

"I had zero expectations coming to this resort and I steered clear of the reviews prior to attending. In saying that, I was pleasantly surprised with everything. The room was clean (travelled with my two kids and wife). Even though they only had two double beds, there is a couch in the room that was able to be pulled out for a child or/and two. The food was amazing. Fish tacos by the pool are top notch. The buffet was always delicious. One down fall is booking the restaurants as top priority is given to the "altitude members" (fyi, the altitude members said it's not worth the upgrade). However when we were able to get into the restaurants the food was amazing. The kids pool was a hit. Great music, and poolside service. The adult pool was alright, nothing special. With the swim up bar, I don't think the potties are being utilized due to the odd smell around the pool. Ha. All in all we had a great week, perfect weather, long walks in the beach (Fat Boys pub is a 30 minute walk on the beach at a 12:20km pace). "

"This is a gorgeous resort with lovely service. Everyone very kind and helpful. I loved walking around and hearing all the amazing birds. Our room was spacious and very nice. Gorgeous grounds, too! The restaurants were good but not amazing - they are serving a lot of people. We enjoyed the poolside food (poke, ceviche, cheap nojitos!). The breakfast buffet was okay - liked the quesadilla station and the fresh fruit, and the pastries were good. But it was frenetic and crazy (go early!) and there were lots of children. This was spring break/Semana Santa so maybe that accounts for it. The adults-only pool was an oasis of calm!! Restaurants - Mezquite was pretty good and beachside, which is nice. Codex was excellent! Really enjoyed that meal. Inventive and yummy."

"Asked for the housekeeping and they responded what do you need? Too difficult to navigate since the rooms are on the top of the mountain while reataurants are near the bottom where lobby is. Many staffs don't speak English nor care to help. Foods are subpar. "
