「Schönes Hotel in guter Lage in Ioannina. Hat mir gefallen.」

「Très bel hôtel, petit et cosy , literie extraordinairement confortable. Le petit déjeuner servi à table est fantastique mais il faut avoir faim (hors d’œuvre, plat d’œufs et desserts ) Seul l’environnement est moche (pas de vue sur le lac, immeubles en béton très miches) et c’est difficile de trouver une place de parking dans les rues je n’ai pas testé le spa 」

「The hotel was dated, looks like it could use a refresh. Paint chipping, mold in the shower. No toilet paper in the room. It was overall quiet and beds were comfortable but it definitely wasn't what i was expecting.」

「We very much appreciated the staff that arranged a tour for us and was very prompt in responding to my emails before we arrived. Breakfast was fine and abundant. The location is within easy walking distance to the main sights. Like many hotels, a minimalist decor and amenities is evident. A painting here or there and more small towels and somehow more counter space in the bathroom would be nice. Also cleaning staff was excellent.」

「Man braucht knapp 30min bis zur Festung ist aber dennoch in der Nähe des Zentrums, was sich über eine längere Straße mit Cafés und Restaurants erstreckt. Die Straße ist etwas ruhiger. Für uns hat die Lokation und die Ausstattung der Unterkunft sehr gut gepasst. Man kommt mit 2 Tür Codes ins Haus und dann ins Zimmer.」

「I don't mind that the facility was ancient and repainted over and over. At least it was clean. I do mind that my room door, closed from the outside sometimes locked and sometimes didn't. A carefree individual may not have noticed. I mind that when I asked the front desk about buses to the local sites, I was provided directions on how to walk to the city's free information booth. 「Beautiful old building with modern updates. Our room was terrific, the staff was wonderful, and the location cannot be beat if you want to be in the center of the old town.」
