Perfect location for walking to downtown Inverness. The owner Gail was very welcoming, the room had lots of thoughtful touches and breakfast was wonderful.
Dionard Guest House was in a quiet residential area surrounded by other B&Bs and private homes. Each room had its own unique decor. Our room was large, yet cozy, and very clean. The walk to town was lovely and only about 10 minutes. I hope I have the opportunity to return to Inverness and stay here again.
Amazing! Adorable house with a lovely garden and host. Quiet neighborhood but easy stroll to city center and Ness Islands! Host is lovely and breakfast is yummy!
We stayed in room 6. The bed was huge and comfortable, with the room and bathroom both also being a good size. Wish we stayed for longer than 1 night but would happily come back to stay here again. Jackie and Nic were super friendly too and were very accommodating. Lovely cooked breakfast and coffee with additional buffet items to start the day right.
Great welcome from Gail who took the time welcome me properly and very well. Very impressed. The room was lovely. Had a great nights sleep with a great breakfast. Loved it and would go back. Thank you.
Really nice place, everything you would expect was available. Excellent fried breakfast with tea and lovely hot croissant. Gail even offered to keep our bags after we checked out, so we could go and do some shopping and have lunch, without having to worry about carrying our bags. Also told us about the walk along the River Ness and we did just that, and enjoyed it 😎
This was one of my favourite places we stayed if not my favourite. We had a warm welcome, lots of local information and a wonderful room. So many great little touches.
Stay here if you can!
A perfect stay. Couldn’t ask for more. Comfortable and convenient location. Adorable place and the owner Gayle was sweet and had an incredible breakfast buffet with cooked to order food. Her right hand man Bill was very informative about places around town and how to get there. Very happy with our visit.
Got the personal tour from Gail.
Had the delux double which was very spacious and well equipped.
Anything you need was available ether already there or just ask and all staff cheery n helpful.
Great value for money and lovely fresh butcher supplied cooked breakfast.
Sadly was a flying visit, but highly recommend for a single night or longer stay.
We arrived early an were able leave the car whislt we explored Inverness on foot. Most places were within easy walking distance. Breakfast was excellent and I would recommend the porridge it was very moreish. The room was perfect for us we even enjoyed the light show.
The owner was very obliging and let us leave our car after checking out so that we could walk to the island's in the river, despite the weather it was well worth the effort.
The owner Gail was wonderful. Greeted us as soon as we arrived. Helped us park right next to property. Gave us all the info needed for the room and stay and dinner place suggestions. Our room was huge with big comfy bed. Learned from owner that in UK they don’t use top sheets as the top sheet is sewn to the underside of the duvet, which we found too hot, so next time we’ll just ask for an extra sheet. The ceiling is low and the overhead lights shine right in your eyes if you’re lying in bed watching TV. You can crack the windows at the top but there are no window screens, so a bee got into our room. No Air Conditioning or ceiling fans but ask Gail for a fan. The bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled and had good counter space but we couldn’t find an electrical outlet in the bathroom or any face cloths. No tub, but the shower worked great! The breakfast was great but my husband asked for over easy eggs but they were too done. It’s an old house but I would definitely stay there again because of the wonderful owner!
This was one of the nicest B and B's we stayed at in our month-long trip to the UK. We met the owner and she was very nice and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful and had everything you could ever want including snacks and cold water in a small refridge. It was walkable to downtown and the parking was safe and on-site. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with cook-to-order eggs and bacon plus delicious pastries and fruits and juices. The hostess/serveral was very nice and welcoming. You have to stay here if you're in the area.
This accommodation was fairly expensive and did not include breakfast. The breakfast itself was expensive and was not offered early enough for us to join our Rabbie’s tour at 0800.
Anne and Gail were so wonderful, they made us feel at home in their beautifully run B&B. It's a quick walk to main street and the full Scottish breakfast was amazing! We plan to stay here every time we visit Inverness!
