Warm welcome upon arrival, even though we were early. Room was clean and nicely decorated with treats and coffee. Modern bathroom and comfy bed. Quiet. A bit of a walk from downtown Inverness, However, not a problem if you have good mobility. Overall, an excellent stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cambeth House. Our room was very spacious and extremely well appointed. It's a short 15 minute walk from the city centre, so feel free to leave your car in the onsite car park. We had a slight problem with the water temperature in the shower/bath but Elmira acknowledged the problem and made things right. A gem of a spot and we will definitely return.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is spotlessly clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything in our room looked freshly updated, from the bathroom to the decor. The good quality terry robes and slippers were a nice touch. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The location was a short walk (15 minutes or so) into town along a quiet, safe street. Parking was provided. It really was perfect for our needs. Most of the other establishments we saw nearby were B&Bs. Breakfast would have been a nice option since it took a walk to get to it, but we were fine with heading into town. The other amenities more than made up for that. One note is that this is an older, refurbished building so you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Again, not an issue for us, but might be for some. I would highly recommend.

This was a lovely property. I purposely picked this guest house based on the other reviews but mostly because of the house itself, its history and location. The room was beautiful and updated with every amenity you could ask for. Elmira, our host, left traditional Scottish treats for us as a welcome which I thought was a special touch. She offered cleaning every day if we wanted but had plenty of towels and toiletries available so that service wasn’t necessary since we were out on tours and barely in the room for a couple of days. It was a quick 15 minute walk to city center and the train station. Loved it!

Check in was easy as was on site parking. Location was handy as you could walk easily into the town with restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and our host Elmira thought of everything and made our stay very enjoyable.

A wonderful hotel! I spent two months in the UK and stayed at hotels all over the country, but this was without a doubt the most comfortable one. I’d like to thank the owner and his wife for their warm welcome. As I was out sightseeing early every morning during my stay in Inverness, I wasn’t able to have breakfast. Next time I visit Inverness, I’ll definitely have breakfast here. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Inverness.

It was an amazing hotel. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but it’s not easy to fit such comfort—especially a great bed and a well-designed shower into such a small room. I genuinely had a five-star hotel experience here. It was truly wonderful. The host was very friendly and welcoming. I wish them all the best and continued success in their future. Absolutely loved our stay at Cambeth Lodge Guesthouse! The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The owners are the absolute most kind people you could ever meet the room was spotless and absolutely amazing. The onsite gated parking was great. Highly recommend staying here.

Charming and quaint home. It is much like a traditional Bn'B, but without the breakfast. The host was very kind and gracious, personally welcoming us at 10:00 p.m. for a late check-in. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a private bathroom. At this rate, I would have appreciated hair conditioner in the shower. Also, the room door lock did not work well. One small push and the door would open when "locked". Overall I would recommend a stay here, just research and inquire prior to booking.
