Firstly, be aware that check in is not actually at this property. You need to walk up the road, approx 5min walk, to another property.
Secondly, I found it frustrating and disappointing that i had booked with 'pay at property' as my payment option, but they tried to process the payment a few days beforehand. Meaning it would be an unauthorised use of my card details stored in Expedia.
Moving on to the room, we had the family room, which was an add on out the back. It was spacious and the shower had great pressure. Probably good being separated from the main building when you have children. Theres no excessive noise through walls to wake them up for early nights.
This room also was accessible friendly.
Breakfast not an option. They only offer breakfast to people staying in the reception property.
Staff, i didn't find warm and welcoming. More dry and like our check in was an inconvenience. For the reception team, please remember that this is your customers first time visiting you. You might have heard the same questions and concerns many times, but this is their first experience. In saying that, this was my in person experience.
I had a lovely exchange via email with Wayne. Wayne sent through some great recommendations, even without prompting and resolved the payment issue quickly without further stress.
