Beautiful countryside. Very pleasant walks. Handy for Loch Ness.

I stayed for 2 nights in September 2025. What an amazing hotel. Every member of staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent. This was a modern hotel but with the character and charm of authentic Scotland.

What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Dog friendly. Oven unusable as filthy dirty. Grease +++. Cobwebs in main bedroom. Old drink can down the side of the sofa. Moved the sofa and dirty underneath. Mould on a lot of the walls.
