"Very nice staff and hotel is so close to Tech."

"WARNING: BED BUGS! Building was very worn and dirty. It's located in a bad neighborhood. Loud smoking neighbors. Breakfast was cold and flavorless. Found roaches in room. Worst of all, I found BED BUGS on the bedding after staying a couple nights. Which made for a hassle upon returning home and having to quarantine all my belongings and heat treating them. AVOID THIS PLACE!"

"The parking lot was dirty. Windy day and trash was flying around everywhere. The shower tub wouldn’t drain. Had to shower as the water level kept rising. Staff was nice and helpful "

"The location is perfect. The hotel is beautiful. Views are tremendous. It's the Staff that make the Overton all that it is and worth being called the best place to stay in Lubbock! I've been staying here since 2021"

"Heater in my room did not work. Staff came and looked at it but did not offer any solution."

"The hotel breakfast was very good. I had a big problem with the pull out couch. There was only a spring with a very, very thin sheet to lie on. The medal poked me when I lay down! I had to get blankets and sheets to cover the springs. Room 201"
