Friendly and attentive staff, One staff member knew the various spots where the popular k-drama had shot scenes which was super helpful and more or less planned out a couple days worth of sightseeing for us! Our room, #12, on the second floor of the building, European 1st floor, had a balcony but was occupied by bees/wasps. Otherwise the room was spacious for us traveling as two, in-room amenities were provided. Public microwave is available if you're traveling on a budget. There's a Lidl 5 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast was varied enough and in retrospect was better than what we had at a hotel near the airport in Zurich following our stay here. Free parking was very welcome, we didn't have to fight for a spot each night as few travelers get around with cars in Switzerland.

One of the great hotel we stayed at in the past 18 days in Europe. Staff are friendly. It's near to the train and bus station. It's walkable area. I just wish that their electric drying rack works. They also have stunning view from our balcony.

It’s an odd retro structure for the location. Chose it for the AC, clean room reviews, and price - it satisfied all requirements. It’s not beautiful or charming, but we only slept there, and we slept well. We were only in town 1 night. Totally adequate place, good location. It was so hot, I wouldn’t have traded our stay for a cute boutique hotel with no AC, which is most common for the area, EVER!

Unfortunately, this hotel falls short of its advertised standards. It’s more of a 3-star vs 4. The family room, which was awkwardly split and located in the old attic, had only one AC unit, which was insufficient for the entire room. Beds and especially pillows were so uncomfortable. The breakfast options were limited. There was only one cooking station available to make eggs or omelets for the entire breakfast area. Honestly, i wouldn’t recommend it
