「I left as soon as I booked another place. The first room I went into was under maintenance, the next was run down, dirty, had sewer gas leak, and smelled like someone lived in there with a cat (because people are living there). The walls were filthy there were spots that had unknown substances on them some spots where it was maybe food on the ceiling the rest of the walls had rotten spots and holes in them, the siding was so rotted you could stick your finger through it, small bits of broken...

「We chose the ocean view side, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. Each room has a picture window. Every morning before you would go out or every evening before you would come back, magnificent views would be waiting for you. What an enjoyable and relaxing experience from the comfort of your room! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel.」

「We read the reviews and knew the hotel was dated but we were pleasantly surprised and pleased by the staff and accommodations. Breakfast buffet was good and filling. We even had AC in our room. Alaska is expensive. Juneau is expensive- everything has to be shipped in by plane or boat. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to downtown Juneau!」
