「Love staying here. Rooms are very clean, restaurant has excellent food and bar. Only thing is they really need someone at the desk to check in. I know they are busy but maybe get someone in there to manage it all the time.」

「Lodge style accommodation. No A/C or ceiling fan, so the room was a bit stuffy for sleeping. Rear window screen was broken, so could only use the front and bathroom windows for ventilation. Room was clean, provided shampoo but no conditioner. Bed and pillows okay. Probably would not stay here again during warm months due to lack of a/c or ceiling fan.」

「We understand that this property has changed hands several times and it currently shows with the lack of staffing and no food service on given days.There was no snack nor food items available. Having stayed here several times in the past it really has declined in the past experiences we have had there. Our room was clean and the accommodations fine but the rest of the area needed service especially at the front desk and departure.」

「The property is on a beautiful spot on 4h lake and close to town so you can walk to just about everything. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. Sadly, the property has fallen into disrepair since our last visit 13 years ago. The window screens all had holes in them, the floor was sandy and not clean, there was no hot water and even the bathroom hot water faucet had no water coming out of it. The medicine chest was broken. The place needs a real overhaul and much attention to detail....

「It is a perfect place to sense of small-town New York. And just across the road there is a short walk to Schroon Lake which is marvellous as it is lined by trees that are close to 100 feet high. Beautiful lake view with a small, sandy beach. Owners are delightful to speak with. Very pleasant experience.」
