"Communication prior was excellent as I received a scam email a couple of weeks prior and I emailed them and they replied immediately advising it was a scam. On arrival receptionist very friendly and helpful. Room spacious, clean and nice private area to sit off room outside. Very help if you have an early tour they will provide a snack breakfast to take with you. Very quiet and close to Main Street. Highly recommend one of nicest hotel we stayed at in South America. Only point to note swimming pool is a cold spa pool encase you extend a big pool not that we wanted to use it but if you are booking for summer. Thanks for a wonderful stay your facilities and staff are amazing."

"This property’s advertisement on line looks way better than the actual product. I am usually very generous and relaxed about my lodging so I am not very critical as long as I can have a decent place to stay. This property is the first and only one I have been really disappointed in. Secondly the property has an address of 147 Los Tamarugos . There’s no such number. It’s 149 Los Tamarugos . Thirdly, we arrived at 5pm on a week day, we rang the doorbell for more than 15 minutes while banging on the door too. No answer!!! We called the phone number, a lady answered but nobody came to open the door for 10 minutes. We had to stop a pedestrian and asked him to help us call the property. Much later someone finally came to open the door. The doorbell’s broken. We stayed 3 nights there but that door bell was still not fixed. In addition the hot water was interrupted every night when we were taking our showers. The bell at the service desk was also broken!!! The proprietor tried fixing it but made no progress, the water pressure dropped and the hot water turned warm instead of hot. Breakfast was very limited. The staff were mostly non existent. The place is outdated and looked not very clean. I’m never this critical of any place I have stayed but I have to say we were very disappointed. The positive things were that there were 3 very friendly cats, the terrace was nice (with very dated furniture)to relax, and the property is relatively close to the centre of town . "

"Though the hotel chain Diego de Almagro is good, the one at SPA is not up to expectations. Wifi only in lobby, tv but no cable or wifi, pool too cold to use, bad information... The location, breakfast and room are ok. It is better than local hostales, but not a good hotel as it is promoted"

"The Hotel is excellent staff is quite attentive and kind. Shops and restaurants all short walking distance. Great service at breakfast. A little noisy late afternoon from villas 6 and up.(school next door)."

"Place is beautiful, very clean but my room had a very foul smell coming from the bathroom drainage not sure if it was from the shower or from the sink or a combination, We reported it and the person in charge very promptly went to the room to take care of it but eventually smell came back . Included Breakfast was wonderful with nice variety of high quality food items, tea and wine tasting offerings was also excellent. I asked for an hour of late check out as their check out time is at 11:00 am but they said no because hotel was sold out , right at 11 our luggage was out of the room Place is well situated right in the middle of town."
