「This hotel needs modernisation. I would not have been happy to be here on a very hot day. It is not very accessible. As I have arthritis I found accessing the first floor quite difficult. Breakfast was great the staff were great」

「Very convenient for a nights stay. Despite being in a pub it was very quiet. Lovely clean, soft towels and clean sheets . Staff were friendly , easy for dinner and breakfast」

「Everything was great, friendly staff and everything maintained to a high standard. The breakfast was great and in a lovely setting. The only issue I had was I couldn’t connect to the WIFI when I needed to as the code wasn’t in the visitor guide. It simply said speak to a member of staff if you are having trouble, but it was too late for that and unfortunately this is a far greater inconvenience that maybe it should be. But such is the world we live in. This is, however, surely a very simple fix....

「Nikki, Sophie and Anya were what made this stay. They were so friendly and so helpful! Nikki really went above and beyond for us, accommodating everything we needed. They were all very kind and patient with my young daughter. The room was exactly what we wanted and as advertised. The food and drink selection was fab too and reasonably priced! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.」

「We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again」
