"We had a lovely relaxing stay at Roots hotel. Everything was immaculate and our room was made up beautifully each day. We loved our room! Staff were very welcoming and friendly and communication before our arrival was great. It’s located virtually on the doorstep of the train station which was handy.

"Stayed just 1 night in June 2026... smallish hotel.... easy to find and very quiet. Room had a/c which was lovely. Only downside was the mattress was very hard so it took me a while to get used to it. But a good stay overall. Plus easy to walk into the town centre."
