Economical stay in the Cape

The Sea Breeze was an economical stay in the Cape. Other options were super expensive so the Sea Breeze was great for our 3 night stay. The property is a little older but everything was clean and functional. The property is a 4 minute walk to the beach, 1 mile from the Kennedy Compound and 2.5 miles from Main Street. Boston is just 1.5 hours, Provincetown at the end of the cape is just an hour drive. We enjoyed Kate's Ice Cream, breakfast at the Daily Paper and supper ate Pizza Borbone while in town. Hyannis had lots of cool options for shopping and food on main street. We also visited the JFK museum while in town and the JFK Memorial (location of his acceptance speak).

The owner Peter reached out the morning of our stay with check-in instructions. Great communication which made our arrival a breeze. Room was in great condition with comfortable beds. Plenty of useful amenities available in the room. Check out was just as easy, would be happy to return - thanks!

Could not get in our room for over an hour after arriving. Was unable to get in touch with anyone to get a code. Rooms were unimpressive, the air kept cutting off. Not very comfortable. Would not recommend

A unique experience, like being at the much-loved home of a dear older friend. Not at all your standardized hotel decor, everything is individual and unique. We loved the cosy feeling - but it is not everybody's cup of tea. Plus, the place might look quaint, but it was spotless and well-equipped. The only downside was, it was wintertime, so not all facilities were available/in order.

We loved this place. It was very quaint old Cape Cod. If you are looking for a modern chain hotel this is not the place. I loved the wide plank floors, the big brass bed, the antique chairs. The grounds were lovely and private and it’s only a 5 minute walk to a very nice beach.

I find it very clean and comfortable in a cozy sort of way. Small, older place with older furnishing's, within walking distance to beach. Very quiet this time of year, just the way I like it. The woman that lives on premises is very kind and accommodating and the owner is as well, even if I only commented with him via phone and tex. The place is undergoing renovations, so by summer it will be even better than better.

A little upgrade from camping. The place is truly run down. Our room was renovated but my 12 year old would have done that job. Definitely rushed, no attention to details. Outside needs a lot of fix up, construction material and trash in the back Now the location was great. Short walk from the beach and 20min walk from main Street. We enjoyed that a lot. Check-in was easy but you will not see anyone. No breakfast. No instructions for wifi. Nothing, bare bones!

The room was clean and nice based on what we paid for it. If you are expecting High end luxury accommodation then you need to pay high end luxury money for alternative accommodation. Great location to the beach, We didn't have a car so used Uber and walked a lot, if you are not driving pick up some groceries before you arrive as no local shops. No on site staff but getting access to the room was easy and we had no problems. Peter the owner always responded quickly to text messages. PROS:- Good value, Great location to the beach, Sun Deck on the Roof, Clean, Air Con (bit noisy but much needed and very nice to have), Surprisingly Good Cofee CONS:- Difficult to pick too much fault as it was priced well for the accommodation. Personally I would probably spend a day clearing up the garden area as this could be lovely and just needs a good tidy up. The sun deck could do with a nice composite deck and nice furniture to match the beautiful view, lastly the rooms are okay but a few thousand dollar update would make them amazing but then the nightly rate would probably be double which to be honest I would be happy to pay.

Ocean not visible from room but veru clowe walking distance, maybe 40 steps. Quaint little place and owner very responsive. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would go back. Perfect for couples and anyone on a budget. Wonderful location
