"I stayed 2 nights here because there is so much to see in the Myvatn area. Laxa was helpful in questions on all the hiking I was doing there. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent."
"Too expensive for what this hostel offer! The building is very old and not so clean , the staff is friendly and professional. Kitchen is big and you can find everything you need rooms are too small"

"The customer service was exceptional and our meal at the restaurant was the absolute best that we had in Iceland (& this is saying a lot as we ate at some very nice places). The hotel is older but charming and our room was comfortable and clean. It is located right across the street from the visitor center and next to a great walking trail that goes on for miles. The absolute best part was the staff 7 & the food!!! I hope to come back and will definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends who are planning to visit. "

"This is a great place with a kind staff. You are very close to all the things to see in the area. The working farm was fun to see while we ate breakfast. We would 100% stay here again."
Appreciate a view of the impressive horseshoe shape of the Waterfall of the Gods and go hiking alongside the foamy rapids of the Skjálfandafljót River.
