"Aircon was not working in a hot day. We had to sleep by keeping doors open and we were on ground floor which was massive safety risk. "

"I arrived at 4.30pm and my room was not ready. I waited and it took nearly 2 hours before the room was ready. The staff member could not locate my room or provide access to the kitchen. The amenities were not clean and the room assigned to me belonged to a lodger, whose personal belongings were in the room. The accommodation was noisy until 1am in the morning so I barely got any sleep. There were cobwebs galore on the windows and the fly screen was broken and I could not turn the power point off as the switches wouldn’t move to the off position."

"We stayed at the front ocean view room and closer to the EV charger. The room is clean and the toilet and bath are spacious and clean. It was a pleasant stay and definitely coming back to this motel. I would recommend specially EV owner to stay in this property, but make sure you have your own cable to charge. "

"I loved my stay at the Arthur Phillip Motor Inn! It's clean and only about a 15 minute walk to Cowes. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk away. I had no car but I had no issues going to where I wanted to go as long as I worked around the bus schedules. I was able to see the Penguin Parade, the Seal cruise, Smiths Beach, and the Koala Conservation Reserve. The owner was the nicest guy! He gave me some sunflower seeds and these colorful birds (rainbow lorikeets) came and ate them straight out of my hand!
The birds can tweet rather loudly, so bring a white noise machine or noise cancelling headphones if that bothers you, but for the price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better place than this. "
